Remember hearing how good this stuff was and happened to hav found some tucked away on the lure rack today

I’ve killed a truckload of coyotes on that stuff. I had a video of 5 cats working a grab and pull stick all at the same time. Bobcats. I think I got 4 of them in one frame.

I’ve used the 1080 on pipe sets with good results. I don’t think I’ve used it any other way. If I remember right it was formulated for a grab and die or grab and pull type lure. Does anyone use it in a different way with success?

Works great on T bones, poke holes, it’ll work with a glob smeared on sheeps wool and pitched down a hole. It kills the snot out of coyotes

I assume this is a lure named 1080 that has nothing to do with 1080 the poison that was used in ADC work? I don’t even know if the poison is still used, I’ve only read about it. Presumably the lure name plays on the lethality of the poison.. maybe just tongue in cheek but seems a little confusing for the uninitiated…

Are you serious?? You do realize that Dobbins wood chipper doesn’t actually facilitate trees to spontaneously mulching themselves into a pile of mulch; nor does Junes windtalker actually communicate with the atmospherics breeze?

The name has nothing to do with the poison, but it is that lethal to coyotes smeared on anything with a trap buried in front. It flat kills coyotes

I should have kept track how many coyotes were caught off of one bottle. It was a lot. 1080 is good a lure.

Was I serious.. I guess in a way I was. Clearly Wolfdog doesn’t have a bottle of cyanide on the shelf, but I used to have an old cabin in a nearby ghost town that came complete with glass bottles of mercury on the shelf and a full box of blasting caps tucked away in the cupboard, and once came upon an old cabin with a box of sweated put dynamite in the woodshed. In addition, I regularly come across signs warning of M44 coyote getters, which upon a quick google search obviously do not use 1080. So yes, after a little education I get the joke. I’m just a little slow

Your not offbase Nuny if the visitors to this site and it is public for looking were to google 1080 you'd first see a peta link which says nothing about being outlawed
