It sounds like a deep hollow thump. Thump...thump. Then 30 second or so pause... Then repeats...thump

Thump..thump.

That description makes it sound more like the first three beats of a grouse drumming cycle. It is the right time of the year. Maybe you weren't able to hear the rapid part that follows. There has to be a logical explanation. Keep listening out there.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

We came.home through Davis and Canaan Valley today. They have allot of interesting history about bigfoot over there. And also around Black Water Falls.

Apparently there have been some.sightings over there.

Itd be a good place for one.
Lots of my laurel undergrowth and huge hemlock forests. Its part of monogahalia national forest

I'm going with a raven , they sound different in real life than on a recording that was made how far away ?
They make noises that are different than anything I've heard before .
They make a bonging sound that I never heard before while in Canada .
Haven't heard it since .
We don't have them here , as far as I know .

And you know people have run out of rational explanations when they switch over to the 'shape shifter' theory. I know Mr Dobbins doesnt allow advertising, but I think I could make a fortune selling tinfoil to some folks on this site ...Lol all in good fun
