I'm sure a low level drop would not be fun to get caught up with. We had water fights back in the 90s and there was always someone on the deckgun trying to knock your helmet off. Those were the good ole days for sure.

Just be glad it is water. The Red Slurry is no fun.

Senior, I have loved everything flight...starting with my father as a fighter pilot in WW2. He instilled a deep respect and love of our pilots and gunners in the military, and for Vietnam vets in particular . Also , being very close to a Vietnam veteran, Hueys, and gunners, therein has my heart. My father and I waved the welcoming banner to those soldiers upon their return, and tolerated no one who treated them with anything less than what we knew they deserved. I am also part of a couple of online groups of vets, pilots, crew chiefs, mechanics, and gunners , as an appreciative member and learner.

Since these meme threads seem to have been taken over by military photos maybe we should start a second thread for that.

Personally, I'm okay with military photos. They're still quite a minority.
Maybe it could be a decision for the owner of this site.

Or just skip over them if it Bothers You.

I didn't sense BernieB was complaining or offended. I think he was just saying this thread has a certain topic and military photos are probably worthy of their own thread. Just my own interpretation. No offense to anyone.

Seems just fine to me right where they are. I didn't realize there were rules for the subjects that could be covered.
