It will do the job. Only thing it lacks really is a place for your pliers and cable cutters, which to be fair usually end up in my pockets eventually.

That would probably work for a light weight on the go but I'd like more pockets for cable cutters and pliers plus a hanger for snare wire.

I'm thinking something like this.

How about one of the tackle binders they make for storing leader setups for fishing?

Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085422K9...BQ4YYX19D6CKAV1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

They have usually have some pockets for tools and then a bunch of replaceable bags that you could fill with a snare+extension in each. Plus they're relatively cheap

For the amount of snaring that you do, that bag will work fine if you think it痴 comfortable.

I have snare bags, but my favorite way is to put them on a giant carabiner clip. Snares, extensions, and earth anchors all hang from clips. Works very well for me. I値l get some pictures for you

Be careful with hanging 1/16 1x19 snares off a carabineer. A snag can wreck some snares...

Jim's ( JC) bag was strictly a one opening bag.
Well made , a bit one the smaller side.
I have one of the first ones ever made and still use it today.
It was made for walking a small line and not hauling a lot of stuff.

Here are some of the carabiners that I use. The one on the right can easily hold 40+ snares.

I have several large carabiners. I usually have extensions on one, snares on some, and then I値l have one on my beaver bag.

When I知 about to leave the truck to head out, I値l grab however many extensions and snares I need, and I値l put them on the clip that痴 holds my beaver bag handles together. Anyone that has used the beaver bags knows that the bag stays too wide open anyway and stuff falls out. The clips fix this. Since the clip holds snares, extensions, earth anchors, and 750 setters perfectly, it all makes my life easier.

As a side note, the jumbo carabiners clip onto 4wheeler racks.

These clips make trapping easier for me, and probably would for you as well. [Linked Image]
