Wow the lure type bottles and jars are getting harder to find and the prices have increased 400 caps for $100 is the going price then they want $40 shipping for a box of darn caps. The popular size glass bottles and jars have been out of stock for some time now. One place has one item the other items you need to get from another place increasing the shipping costs.

Some place will reserve your items and put you on a list for when they come in, getting the right color caps might become a problem soon as the white metal caps are harder to get now. Get what you need now it will only get worse the way it’s going. Former US made glass is now being imported even by the big name companies the Wheaton bottles I received today came from India I did not expect that.

Contact Sterling Fur and Tool , speak with Keith Winkler. He usually has a good selection of glass and plastic containers for lure and bait. He has caps to fit what he sells usually. He may have what he carries listed on his website.

That's where I get all my bottles.

I found a case of bottles that I needed but the common size like in the Boston rounds the smaller sizes have not been available for a long time now. Anything I can’t by in case quantity MTP often has reasonable but I think they are out of pints at this time. I needed caps mostly for the glass I had because they are smoky now don’t know if they will freshen up any.

Haven't been on their site lately, but Uline usually has a pretty good selection of plastic and glass bottles.

I found a distributor out of Idaho that had prices that were hard to beat by anyone. I got an order setup for a large quantity of 1ounce bottles and then i found out the shipping was double what it should be. When I contacted them about it they said that they automatically charge every order a $7.50 handling fee and then the shipping cost was estimated and that it just what what it was. Without shipping they were half price of ULINE for Boston rounds 1 ounce jars with lids but after the shipping was calculated it was the same price. I really get bent outta shape about the hidden charges and fees attached to orders so i kinda refuse to order from folks like that. Uline or Minnesota trapline is where i get my jars and supplies from just because they are both very straight forward with my orders and trustworthy in my book.

Found what I needed the darn caps are way more spendy now then before, then they wanted $30-$40 shipping on a gallon ziplock size bag of caps so I had to shop around a bit. I know I’m a small fish buying a case at a time so it’s expected for their troubles but I shop around anyway I’m cheap. Plus I buy extra caps to have on hand bottles lacking lids are useless to me.

Law Dog. Don’t describe yourself as cheap. My best friend calls me cheap. I say no I’m “frugal “.
