I often wondered who would look after me. I guess I recently found out, since I got out of the hospital my wife has looked after me 24/7 , she is doing an excellent job as my road to recovery continues. Without her I would be up the creek.

First word choice with some less popular letters helped me figure out todays word.

I just did my 40th with one miss. It says I got it on 2 once, on 3 eight times, on 4 thirteen times, on 5 fourteen times and 3 times on my 6th try. Its fun to do while waking up, drinking my morning coffee before work.

Bernie, you are the man. I don't see how it is possible to get it on the first try yet you did it 8 times. What is your secret?

Haha there is a secret. Only one of those I nailed on the first try for real, the others were the second time around. Ever have one of those words that you have most of it, but about a dozen different letters make words? See pic below. If you don't get it in the first six you can watch an ad and try again, that's how I got 7 of 8 of those on the first try. I'm ridiculously good at word games but I have worked with words my whole life so it's no surprise.

Just some hints for people:

The 9 most common consonants in the english language are RSTLNCDMP in that order. So it's good to start with words that have the most common.
More words end with S than any other letter. I believe ED is the next most common word ending.
A LOT of five letter words are CVCVC Consonant Vowel mixes. LIVES, LINER, RATED, you get the idea.
A surprising number of words have more than one of the same letter, if you keep that in mind at all times, you'll solve them faster. Surprisingly I got POPPY on the third try. I lucked out on BEZEL and RADAR too.

Anyway hope this helps.

I got today's in 2. I was shocked. Had all 5 letters in the first try. Just had to rearrange them for the second try.

I lost!! First time lost out of 28 games. I narrowed it down to two possible words at the end.... and picked the wrong one of the two.

Ha, I lost on my 30th try in the same way! I had another one a couple days ago just like it, had three words that would fit but I guessed the right one this time.

I got it on my last try. Spent entirely too long trying to figure out the 1st and 3rd letters.

Got it on the last try.

Took me all 6 tries an a "AHA" moment to get todays.

I got today's in 4. Had the third and last letter in the right place from the get go.

Today's word had a letter I don't recall seeing before, managed to get it in 4.
