Today, I bought 99.64 bushels of corn, 5580 pounds, at $7.40 a bushel for a total of $737.36.
I bought 2.33 bushels of soft red, Winter wheat, 140 pounds, at $10.24 a bushel for a total of $23.89.
Soybeans were $15.99 a bushel.

Ouch. I may grow a half acre and hand pick it just to raise a couple pigs. Leave them run free lot of folks are against factory farms anyway and its probably historical range

Corn is $7.90. soybeans are $14.98 Harrisonburg,VA from what I was able to gather. The one website I rely on no longer has prices listed.

Run you are paying almost $1.00 more for a bu. of corn but 50 cents less for beans. You must be in a real corn deficit region. I bet those huge poultry and pork farms are glad they booked their feed last year. If they did not margins will dwindle. Eggs have doubled here in price in two weeks. Bryce

I think the roadside eggs are reasonably priced here in Virginia. $2.50 / dozen. Probably going to change soon.

The eastern shore normally has the highest corn prices generally speaking in my limited experience.
