Doesn't surprise me. I sold to them Saturday down at leggetts, and out of 5 coyotes I had, they bought one for 5 bucks, the other 4 were no value. Given, 2 were rubbed bad across the shoulder from mites, but 2 were decent coyotes just not perfect color. And I think the most I saw a coon go for was $3. Mink were $4 for big males, $2 for females. This was eastern fur from Pa btw

They have a stop in Boone tomorrow, as well as some other Iowa stops.

If they’ve got stops in those Northern states and aren’t buying coon or mink there, at any price………then that’s as bad as it gets.

They've never ran spring routes in Iowa before, at least that I can remember.

I sold Friday in Pa. Castor $60 / # . Beaver ( green ) $4-$7. Rats ( finished ), $3 and down. Saw a guy sell a red for $3, greys for $6. Guy before me had a nice batch of 15 finished beaver…$84 .

Well, at least the freezer is cleaned out.

If that’s how next season is going to be it might be time to find a new hobby.

It is easy to see the price went up on beaver. Yea, it went just like I figured it would. He paid more for two days and then dropped the price lower than what it was.
