Do you sell any of your photos to magazines or publishing houses...? You probably could!
Is the last pic a Golden Eye? I don't think I've ever knocked one down in this state. Then again, fall colors are what they are, sometimes hard to tell without other factors, such as the bills or eye color.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion and all the creatures that move along the ground". Genesis 1:26

I’ve sold a few prints to a few people who have asked, but haven’t pursued that avenue very hard yet. Yes, that’s a drake Goldeneye, decoy is one that I carved and had a good friends dad paint for me. He has now passed and I have been trying for a couple years to get this picture for him. Here is a couple more photos from the encounter.

Cool pictures, Tray. I noticed the two goldeneye species as well. Did you carve both?
Varmitshooter........this isn't 100%, but Lesser Scaup have a purple tint to their heads, Greaters are green. I always tell folks to remember "Green is for Greater!" The lighting has to be good to even see either birds head color. They mostly just look black unless lit up well.

I carved a dozen Goldeneye decoys, most of them I painted myself except for a couple Barrows which I only take out for these occasions. All the commons I painted myself and I worked hard to make sure they didn’t show up in the pic, I’m a terrible artist. LOL Yes the scaup is a Lesser, the Greaters are fairly uncommon there this far west.
