Conservatives have always been open to electric vehicles when they make sense and are economically feasible. It is the government manadates and intervention with free markets (forced conversion to electric) that conservatives oppose.

Something about "us government is $30 trillion in debt criticises musk on how he spends his money."

Most people are clustered around the center with their views on issues and lean one way or the other depending on the particular individual issue. Extremists on either side cause the tipping point to move.

I think there are very few people in the middle any more the largest clusters are at the ends and they are getting farther apart all the time.

True. We don't have to agree with everyone 100%. Sometimes bad people do good things and vice versa.

Yep. As soon as they make one in 4x4 I can pull a 15,000 lb trailer at 75mph 600 miles with the radio and ac on, charge in 15 min at a price equal to 2 50 a gallon gas, can hold my family comfortably and I can buy new for 35k I will seriously think about buying one.

Try to force me to drive one that cost 60k and can't make my commute of 226 miles one way with heat, headlights and radio on in the winter that takes 8+ hrs to charge. Never going to happen.

Interesting. I read an article today about conservatives followers going up while liberals followers plummeted on Twitter, BUT the article I read said Obama was the exception, with his followers going up.
