Book signing this Friday, May 13, from 4 pm to 7 pm, at Edge of the Arctic Trading Post here in Fairbanks. To be more specific... right next door to Hoodoo Brewery!

Meet the author and the artist who did the cover art. BS with other trappers. Have a snack (if I remember to stop at Costco on the way over...)

If you are out of town, PM me for info on how to get one through the mail!

Pete

To be fair, Florcraft on the other side should have plenty of parking that time of day for the book signing. whistle

TJ,

For some reason I was thinking in terms of beer, not parking!

That sounds like a great plan Pete...get 'em drunk and then sell the books.

I'm halfway through my copy...every entertaining and well written.

I wasn’t planning on coming into town but if it’s got lots of black and white photos that’s another story. And HooDoo does have good beer.

The book signing went rather well. I'm still not rich, but I got to visit with a LOT of trappers...! Thank you,

Get ahold of me via PM and I'll sell you one directly.

As some of you know, Pete and I share three granddaughters. Last night the youngest one called me in obvious distress. She said in a plaintive little voice that ......."grampa Pete is trying to force me to buy his book and I don't want to.."

I guess inflation has cut into some old retirees' finances.

Books sales are fairly brisk, but I'm glad I'm not trying to squeak by on book sales and Social Security!

Now that I don't trap as much, I have more disposable income...

I am going to use that quote to promote the book! You cannot BUY an endorsement as good as that!

I'll order a copy just because of the title;
Sounds Ed Zern-ish to me, and I was a big fan of his writing.

Could be a touch of McManus in there, too.
Just trying to figure what character White might be: Rancid Crabtree, maybe? Surely not Sneed.

Sales are still fairly brisk. Reading about hunting/trapping and snow/ice can cool you down during the hot summer!

Remember, I make more money (so I can trap more...) on each copy, if you buy the book from me instead of Amazon.
