can you make 2-3 laps around the outside of the field in the fall and control burn the rest come spring ?

I hear you I am trying to figure out what I am going to do , my furnace runs on off road I used only 120 gallons this year with all the wood I burned but wow at todays prices that is still crazy for heat

I installed the wood stove in 2007 when heating oil was 4:16 a gallon and the stove about paid for it's self in one year

I have a 300 gallon tank I need to put about 250 gallons of diesel in for my foodplot work, upkeep of trails, bush hogging, etc. Offroad $4.30 a gallon here.

Gas at our local station is 5.29 on road diesel is 5.69. This getting ridiculous. I hope come election time people open their eyes.

On road diesel hit $ 6.09 gas $ 5.59 today no end in sight, went up 10 cents every other day for a week now

I use 500 gallons of off road in about 9 days. Our fence posts like everything else have gone up in price, our landscape mulch is going up. Fuel surcharges on everything....

The D8K dozers we use for site prep use 16 gallons/hour. That adds up in a hurry at $4.50/gallon.

Only bush hogging beside the drive way now. Used to bush hog my feilds 3 times a year. With deisel prices it will cost me 700 bucks each time. Going to wait until fall and bush hog once.

We just bought some this morning for the tractor. It was 5.12 a gallon.

You brush hog 3 times to keep the trees and stuff..autumn olives..multiform roses and broomsage from going to seed.
