Never before seen photo of AKnative and my son Jason. Scouting out some new line last week. Judging from the vegetation, I'd say it was probably for "open water beaver" activity!

Wouldn't scouting for open water beaver be pretty risky for 2 married guys?

Judging by the toes on the bottom of the picture, they have chaperones....

you can vote your way into socialism, but you will have to shoot your way out.

I am just on my way back from some open water trapping in habitat similar to their line.

Trapping is much easier once your out of the ice and snow of course but it ends up costing you a bunch money instead of making any.

I bet most of the hides were sheared if not plucked variety also.

Catch rate was pretty slim for me this go, though there was plenty of sign! No money made on this trip, but we sure paid for it. It was a good time.

Here's a vlog of the cruise if anybody's interested. The food was great, the activities were too much, and the company was fantastic!

Never wanted to go on a cruise- but you made it seem fun. Maybe I'll have to try it after all.

It was a good time, I'll go again eventually. Would rather avoid the Disney parks though, that was rough.
