I’d try pass the buck too if I had a car company that just increased prices across the board by as much as $6000 or had a recent record year in profits that doubled their previous record like Amazon. Nothing to see here folks, it’s Brandon’s fault. I’m sure many other wealthy CEO s of companies making record profits would also agree with them. Like Steve a Forbes, their earnings were a measly 54% over the previous year. Lol

Bezos is just catering to the American consumer base that now likes to shop online, but is also now being affected by inflation. Bezos (Amazon) cannot live without cheap crap from China. His whole business would go under if Amazon shoppers stopped buying cheap chinese crap; and I think he is being disingenuous.

Musk, on the other hand is different. Yes, he's got a big Tesla plant in Beijing, but he's been holding them to the coles on production with all their stupid covid restrictions.

I trust Musk way more than Bezos on telling the truth in this situation. Amazon cannot function without China. Tesla, SpaceX, etc. can even if they take a hit IMO.

Sure they create jobs, supply products etc, but they need their peasants to be be in the position they’re in. The brilliant thing is that they’ve convinced the peasants the government are the root of their problems. Sure they do things that suck but current wealth distribution doesn’t make the world, my country or yours better. It also adds to the problems so many hate.
Tesla’s main factory is in China. They sold a stake to a Chinese Internet giant, although a small one. Tesla even quarantined 1000s of workers at a factory in China to ensure they were covid free. Tesla’s Shanghai factory bought almost all of its components for the model 3 and y from China itself. Like I said, they add good things but it’s astounding to me how they get a free pass for exporting systems, people , government itself etc.

It’s corporations that are the reason things like beef cost an arm and a leg in the store but the rancher gets a mere pittance. Yeah, capitalism so awesome 100% of the time just because it’s capitalism, something that can be good.
