The FH catalog with pictures is up and open for bidding. Unfortunately, only registered buyers can see that catalog.

I will tell you this, there are already a few bids on raccoon and coyote.

Could be an interesting week until the last lot sells on Monday the 27th.

So the order of sale listing Raccoon and coyote on the 24th is when bidding closes for those species. Is bidding open for all species now?

Yup. The 24th (Friday) starts with coyotes at 7 AM eastern time. Raccoons are after that and finish at 630 PM. Wild mink is after that and the day ends at 7 PM.

It is going to be a long 12 hours of watching paint dry. The auction is timed so that a lot closes every 30 seconds, whether there is any bidding or not. No way to speed it up.

In a live auction room, they could ask if there is any interest and if not, the sale would be over before noon!! LOL

All species are open for bidding.

Any chance you or someone else could post a one lot example pic of what the buyers catalog looks like. I’d be curious to see a sample just to see what buyers are going by in these online auctions. I don’t care what species or what lot. Would just be interesting to see how the lots and photos are displayed in the online catalog.

Ken,

There is a string of 636 red fox I would really like to buy. Do you suppose you could loan me some money to buy them? We can split the profit 50/50. Heck of a deal.

mud - I’m looking at a sample of 8 to buy 636 skins. It is a crap shoot but past experience tells me there are a lot of decent skins in the bulk. Sure there will be some throw aways but overall a good buy - IF it weren’t for the dang packing and handling fee.. That can be a deal breaker.

I saw that. 3 bucks per skin. FHA is doing better on those than the producer by a long shot lol!

Probably faster and more efficient if I buy them and sort them. I'll ship your half to you . It's all downhill from here to there so shipping should be cheaper.
