550s for me use them for years great all round trap.

I like a laminated 650 ( or Jake) for predator work.

Itís a game of inches. If Iím mostly chasing coyotes I say use the biggest trap thatís legal for the biggest strike zone possible. I think a #3/mb650 is the ideal coyote trap, though a little big for fox imo. If youíre looking for an all arounder I think the #2/mb550 is tough to beat. Anything that walks or swims will fit in and be held by a mb550 closed jaw.
