How much per Kilowatt hour do you pay ? No Clue Near as I can figure my bill is it's close to 15 cents. 8.5 generation, 1.8 transmission fee and customer charge? Of 4.3 per kWh and then there are taxes, ect. There are so many charges on a bill its hard to know who all has their finger in your pocket. All charges included my total bill divded by kWh used, it comes to 17.5 cents per. Bill is 85.06 for 484kWh.

Nessie, any idea how much of your power is generated?
LNG is up 40 to 45 percent from a year ago, if that is much of what your utility is using it will have an impact.
We are lucky in my area, we still get a bunch of power from ND goal generators. That is slowly changing and prices are starting to match.

Full punishment of the actual working middle class who are mostly conservatives is what we see happening...by design. They are bringing in replacements by the millions, people who are more easily controlled.

Our electric bill was pretty cheap until they started building all the solar farms around here. I also find it funny, all the HVAC companies around here are pushing electric heat pumps.? My understanding is, they are great for moderate climates but terrible in more severe climates. I had an electric heat pump when I lived in Nebraska. When it got zero or below, my electric bill was terrible ($600/mo) and my house there was a well insulated ranch style house. I can't imagine what it would be here during an entire month of zero or below temps running that system. I now have a natural gas furnace/water heater and a central air A/C unit. My combined bill for gas/electricity on a monthly basis has never been over $210 and averages about $150/mo throughout the year. I have about 2 feet of fiberglass insulation in the attic. I think it helps.

Brian, you still live in a mild climate lol.
There are many people with heat pumps up here, they don't use them as a primary heat source.

I just researched my cost of electricity. It is, currently, $0.20/KWH. Last year at this time, it was $0.14/KWH. Up about 43% year over year. I hear, it's going up again. I'm about over this whole "save the planet" crap. I dont need a planet if I can't afford to live on it.
