No need to log all of this info when you standardize your trapline. When each set has the same bait, urine, and trap, there is nothing that is an outlier to record. Become quick and efficient to be more effective

It's my main goal this season

Gotta live up to the nickname...

Y’all must be running 100+ sets.

When I set up a new marten line,in good habitat,I set boxes every 1/4 mile apart right off the bat.I will mark the boxes with colour coded marker indicating the catch of different species like weasel, red squirrel, flying squirrel and fisher, and of course marten at each box over a couple seasons.
I use this info to move/decommission boxes that catch too many flying squirrels or red squirrells in ratio to the marten catch. After a couple seasons only the most productive locations with high marten ratio catch are set.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

This is very much in line with my thoughts for the most part.
I log where my traps are set because if there's 65 stops it can be a bit of a daze on what is where and if I had pulled one or moved one at a location. I also tally the catch at stops for later use in knowing what spots are better worth it and what spots are more worth passing up.
The bait and lure is a whatever unless you are trying to find tune a specific component of your line.

I do note what made me set a trap(s) there as well.

Yes. That's why I just focus on locations so I can keep track of them all.
