Last night. Had the windows open and heard it. Pitifully sound.
Seen coyote track on my trail coming into my cabin today. Didn't have much gear here but set 2 traps about 200 yards away.

Both dirt hole sets.
One baited with chicken grease, one with a mouse nest I found in my shed.
Will see what tomarro brings.
It was 89* out while setting them at sweat was pouring off me but had to give it a whirl.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

I’d take 89 degrees, lol. I moved a few sets this morning and was drenched in the first hour!! I HATE summer trapping, but critters need caught.

I hope you do. I found fresh tracks this morning and put in three sets within 100 yards of each other down the road.

If you didn't drive over people snares there would not be as many coyotes smile Good luck.

Have dripped sweat all over coyote traps in the heat and still first nights catches on damage control complaints.

Nothing caught. No fresh tracks on the trail.
