Now, I know it's just personal preference, but I can agree with this. I support the tanning of assault weapons. I think FDE looks nice. There's nothing wrong with black AR15s either, and of course I wouldn't support the tanning of all AR15s, because it's just a matter of personal preference. It's tan and that makes it much easier to see what if it's on safe from a distance. Since I built it for my youngest son when he was 7 I liked that I could check it at a glance.
