Nuisance beaver,including ripping the dams out. Now that I am older I got to be careful how hard I go at it,but sometimes I forget and pay the price.

Beaver. Close second is high desert bobcat. A lot of times it’s a very steep hike to a good bobcat location around here

Beaver, I trap only nuisance Beaver, but I think it's more work than anything else.

Beaver through the ice at 30 below 0, with a couple dozen sets out, 40 miles up river on snow machine, then get a cold snap, by far!
I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

Have to agree its beaver. Big traps,big animals and unstable walking or wading conditions. Trap them for any length of time and your body is in the best shape imaginable. At my age I can no longer haul 200 lbs of beaver out at one time let alone through the bogs and swamps for long distances. 10 years ago,it was a different story. Tom
