Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts said this about the 22 year old who stopped the mall shooting in Indiana. “I don’t know who needs to hear this but when a 22 year old who illegally brings a loaded gun into the mall and kills a mass shooter armed with an AR 15 after he already killed 3 people and wounded others is not a ringing endorsement of the implementation of our Second Amendment.” This woman doesn’t make sense. If this isn’t an endorsement for the Second Amendment, I don’t know what is. Maybe somebody can explain her statement.

The news report I heard, said he was packing legally.

He was legal, the mall has a gun free policy. That seemed to work splendidly.

Think they had signs that said no weapons. The only time I adhere to those signs are military installations, court houses, and schools. Just about everywhere else I take as a suggestion.

The second shooter was from my neck of the woods, so this story is all over the place. His carry was perfectly legal in the State of Indiana. Those calling it "illegal" are citing the fact that the mall has a no firearm policy. So he broke the Mall's rules, not the State's. A 2A attorney was on the radio this morning explaining that since he broke the mall's rules, they could ban him from all of their properties if they so chose. If he returned, he would then be guilty of trespassing.

Yes in Indiana no gun signs do not Carry the weight of the law. If they see your gun they can ask you to leave and if you don't you can be charged with trespassing. Keep it concealed and no problems at all.

Now courthouses, federal buildings, jails, and prisons are off limits.

The mall owners even called hi. A good Samaritan and thanked him.

Imagine a town, city, community that required everyone to carry concealed…what would the outcome of crime be?
If you was a criminal and knew that every person in that town was carrying (bank employees, teachers, soccer moms, etc) would that be a high on the list of places to hit?

I saw it on the national news this morning before I left for work. They said a Good Samaritan stopped the gunman and they had a police officer on who said “it could have been worse but a civilian was able to stop the shooter”. My thoughts were...dang they are actually reporting this and doing their job for once. Had to admit it but I was surprised
