Okay so what is the closest you made a double set to each other and have caught coyotes. Staked down traps not on drags. I found a couple pair when I was scouting today and my set up area has limited options. No pup tracks. Judging from the tracks looks to be a male and female.

I always set two traps minimum per location. I've had them as close as ten feet and far enough apart to just be visible. Usually a combination of dirthole and flat.

I’ve caught doubles within ten feet of each other. As long as the coyotes can’t reach the other set to screw it up when the first one is caught you’re good.

Opposite sides of a four wheeler trail took these two. I do think I set to close together sometimes, but every once in awhile it works out

I am getting that way myself. Closer you get toway the ocean more you get storms that can your wind. Had a 14 day job last year where wind changed 10 times. It’s supposed to be SW in that area all the time

My closest was 8', just enough that the single (with a catch) could not disturb the second trap, and after the catch, the 2 circles overlapped. ........................... the mike

My closest was about 10 feet, one each side of an old fence line. I tried hard but weeds were too thick to get a pic of each side by side, in the dark.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

My closest was a coyote on each end of a bale of straw. But to do this I have to stake as far away from the bale as possible.
