Haven't seen a shortage but the quality went down and the price doubled.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Idaho and russet bakers are at the end of last seasons availability. New crop should start showing up in stores in a few weeks.

I see the local tater growers here sprayed their crop to kill the plants last week. I would expect the new crop harvest to begin this week. It looks like a good crop here. I might have to buy 50# or so and try canning them.

I might have to buy 50# or so and try canning them. Keep an eye out. A lot of the fields you are allowed to go through and pick up potatoes after the harvest is done. Get a couple hundred pounds to last you until next fall.
