Exactly right! What Nessy said too. I used to handle a lot of badgers, but I'm here to tell you, once he gets munched on, he will think a little differently! I was lucky, never did get bit, except by a couple foxes, and when they get you, they usually don't spit you out! Have fun while you can, kid!

Yes twice as strong as a coon of that size. Coons will bite and may let go the badger I messed with was like a pit bull dog. He didn't let go till he wants to and can bite twice as hard as a coon. They have lose skin I am surprised that kid didn't get bite.

That was about 20 miles from me. I've caught quite a few in traps and not one acted mean. Just set there looking at me.

That kid grew up about a half hour from where I lived in Nebraska most of my life. Not much to do for entertainment in that Nebraska sandhills town. The women are thick but there ain't many of them. I'd say he's a typical young man from that part of the country.

Believe it was in the late 70's. I think it was a cash prize if you could do it, I remember they had a DR. on site for stitches. I was a lot younger and still didn't have the go-nads to try it. It sure seemed like the badger could turn itself, in it own skin.
