Not around here. Even local elections have changed parties because of the liberals.

One that really hurt us is when they get reimbursed for all the legal fees when going to court. That is in a win loose or draw. My understanding is it became the norm back during the Clinton administration. He also tried to dip into the Dingle fund we all pay for by a tax on all sporting goods.

If they plan on paying for it. the need a tax on kayakers, hikers, bird watchers, campers. and other like recreation. In my state kayakers don't have to buy a sticker for their kayaks. But It's their drowning hind ends that our DNR is for ever pulling out of the rivers. YES!!!
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Ok, did any of you actually read this? It would give state the money to manage imperiled wildlife that right now they have to manage without any federal funding. Take grizz in Wyoming. Our state must manage for grizzly bears but yet we can not hunt them or raise funds for their management with hunting licenses. Big money is spent every year on these bears, and some wolves without the state having a way to raise those funds for the management.
This is not a bad bill but the price tag is too high. Of course they didn’t. It’s a good bill. Looks like funding is mostly settled. Either way, I’m ok if my tax dollars go to this, rather than gender studies in Afghanistan or most other places it goes. Plus, game species will still benefit from this, since the PR funds that are currently used for non-game species will be able to be used for game species.

Since Lazarus is a lawyer, and I am not, I'm assuming I'm missing something. I don't see in that article anywhere where it says they are taking funds from the taxes sportsmen pay to pay for non game species?

[/quote] I am glad that is what will happen in your state -- in my state they will use the money to further destroy grazing, timber harvest, and most other farm uses. As well as using that money to further limit our hunting/ fishing opportunities because of some endangered Protozoa or some such bs. I am all for management of all game and nongame species -- just not zero harvest and zero habitat management. That is all our taxes will go to here.

I hope you are involved in advisory council meetings to stop that nonsense as much as you can.
