What’s the best/ cheapest place to send hides to get tanned?

I can't say enough good things about Moyle Mink & Tannery and I don't think I would ever use anybody else, although there are multiple good options. My pelts came back fantastic and I couldn't be happier with them. They charged me $28/coyote and the price goes down with volume discounts if you're doing larger quantities. That's a price I'm willing to pay and I don't think they could have come back any better. In addition to being the NTA's official tannery, I believe, they came highly recommended to me by a local taxidermist I was working with who also swears by them. They're at least worth considering on any short list.

X2 for Moyles. Best and cheapest don't go together. Moyles, for me, has been the best. Wait time can be long, but the final product is worth it.

You can have the best, or you can have cheap, you can’t have both. That goes for any facet of life, not just tanneries.

Always heard good things about moyles

Ok thanks guys looks like Moyles it is. Local taxidermist is charging $250 . I don’t mind fleshing and salting. $28 a coyote is much better. :-)

Moyles will take pelts (all species) that have been salted. After the pelt is salt cured, then it needs to be dried. So that it isn’t sloppy wet. Just hang the salted pelt so the fluid and excess salt falls off. Does not have to go on a fur stretcher to dry.

A friend sends dozens of salted/dried pelts to Moyles and they turn out fine.

Not to get off target but a question. Is there a place where pelts can be sent and make into a garment?
Thanks
