I use OnX. Worth every penny of the subscription price.

Is there a way to get the iGoTrapping to track your trail? That’s the only thing I don’t like. That, and I’m usually out of cell service but I can still use it to mark sets. That’s what sold me on OnX. I can not only track but I can download maps from WiFi or cell service and not have to worry about whether I have cell service or not. I can sit in my recliner in Georgia and pick places I want to check out in Washington or Idaho and Montana and download those maps months before my trip. I’ve already got about 7 areas picked and downloaded for Montana next Spring. When I get there I pull up those maps and hit track and start dropping waypoints, like where the gate/truck is. If I take a promising trail to an area I want to check out I drop another waypoint just incase I find birds or sign and have to come back at 0-dark thirty in the morning to reach that ridge. My first bird in Washington last year was 5+ miles back and away from the truck. Sure made it easier getting back to the truck with a track and even seeing where I could drop off a mountain to cut out some extra distance.

I'm a HuntStand user. I have the Pro version. About $30/annually.
I use it to mark traps. And I really like the monthly satellite images.

I'm old school and don't use apps. I did try Onx with all the hype and several friends that use it. Way too buggy for me, it wouldn't show me where I was on the map, then while driving down the road it suddenly started showing me. Then a little later it removed all the property lines and landowners, I reloaded everything and turned stuff on and off and couldn't get them to show up again, then suddenly an hour or so later (when I had moved on through all the area where I was curious about landowners) while I was looking at it they popped up again and showed for the rest of the day. Also, everytime the backlight on my phone timed out and the screen went dark the app closed and I had reopen it next time I went to look at it, and it didn't track while it closed.
Nope, I have a gps I use, and otherwise it is a paper map, waterproof notebook and my memory.
