So wild?
I've been numerous concerts of all genre's and yet it seems country music concerts are the craziest.
Everyone I've talked to all agrees. Do you guys and gals?

There were over a dz brawls at one concert this weekend. That's not including the one I had to get in when a guy was fighting a woman right next to. Also doesn't include a lady's fight I was with (part of the group) when a random lady started swinging at her while we were dancing.

This is 1 of many reasons I don't go out lol. There's too many idiots

Because they sing songs about us

Probably because they are drinking lots of alcohol, whereas at rock concerts they are smoking lots of weed and doing lots of extesey. Not that I'm endorsing any of those substances.

Country music drives people to drink.

Is there such a thing as "country " music nowadays?

Last couple years my wife and daughters have been quite a few with no bad experiences. Jason Aldean, chris stapleton, brad paisely, thomas rhett, to name a few. Forgive the spelling not a fan but have seen Hank Williams Jr. and he rocked. The girls did have real good seats. Maybe that changes the surrounding crowd or security? When I was a young poor man I went to a lot of rock concerts in the CHEAP seats. Plenty of fights and makeout sessions going on. On occasion I did partake lol!

This. I used to work at a large venue selling merch. The country concerts were the worst because the fans would drink heavily and get belligerent. The Rock concerts were much easier because they were full of pot heads. Pot heads tend to be very chill and easy to deal with compared to a drunk hot head.

Ive worked many of concerts as security. Everyone from young Taylor Swift to big rock bands. Each singer brings in their own type of crowd based off their music. Some country singers are pretty laid back and things go good. Some cuss a lot and sing about fighting, those have a high percentage chance of turning out ugly.

That and if you dont want to be part of the fighting crowd in ND, buy a seat. Dont go on the floor in the standing room by the stage. Never had any random assaults start in the seating.

Lol DanN country ain't what it used to be.

I got 2 very last minute concert invites at 2 different venues. Friday was Brad Paisley very "relaxed" concert smaller venue very tight security. Saturday was Thomas Rhett a bigger venue with lose security I got there just as opening acts were finishing. The people i was with tell me there was a fight in the front row seats where the act stopped the show. All these fights and rumbles went on for minutes (no lie) finally security stood nearby.

Rock and rap concerts puerile are drunk and high and or on other stuff so they are more mellow. Fights once in awhile.
My first concert ever was Garth Brooks early 90's maybe late 80's we went as a family. Tons of fights and a stabbing.

All post indicate to me a very good reason to by pass the concerts such as have been reported here. No use to go to a place to try and hear music that you maly not even hear at all.

I always saw them as a waste of money. I have no desire to go, even if it is free. I guess I don't se them as hero's. They are not worth leaving the house for.

If you want to see wild, go to a Slipknot concert

Each singer definitely brings in their own crowd and not always what you expect. i once was at a sold out Ozzy Osborne with Black Sabbath concert at the Wright State Nutter Center, minutes from Wright Patterson Airforce Base. There was a huge crowd of clean cut looking young men, like I was, who liked they could be in the military or police force. They all had khaki pants and nice button down shirts. I commented to my cousin and my brother, who were with me that I was surprised there were so many clean cut Ozzy fans and seconds later one of the clean cut men unfurled a Nazi flag and the others Sieg Heiled it. The only black guy I saw at the concert hightailed out of there at that point.
