Cablejohn- One of those extremely bittersweet things in life is as we get older, our older loved ones we care are getting older as well. We can never escape that part of mortality. It sounds like your dad was an amazing man, and if he was a believer, he modeled Jesus better than most, myself included. Remember and cherish all those good memories and proud moments remembering your parents. Those never wear out...
"And God said, Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion and all the creatures that move along the ground". Genesis 1:26

Huge kudos to you and your siblings for taking care of your Dad like that. So sorry for your loss, it's hard to lose parents. Prayers sent ole boy.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

My mother was the only memory he consistently had. Almost every day he would pack up random things and try to go find her. Hopefully you can find peace in knowing that he finally found her now. Prayers sent for your family.

You've had a tough past few years John. A pic to help ease the pain.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Sorry to hear about your dad.

Your dad must have been a wonderful person and father, may he Rest In Peace.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.
