How are you guys treating your rams? The snares I’m boiling with baking soda but according to the manufacture, the rams aren’t supposed to be boiled. Probably just a cold dip or tremclade?
I also heard not to store them loaded, I’ve had one in my shed for 2 years that I wanna use this year. I thought they were always stored like that, loaded with a zip tie for added safety.

Dip my Rams in petroleum dip. All my cables (both regular and Ram) are color coded by the diam. of cable so I don't have to look (and use what little brain I have) to see what size they are. I had 1 Ram break in storage while it was loaded and only 2 years old. Just BANG and I happened to be in the shed when it happened. Called Snare Shop as you could see the steel had a flaw in the machine pouring/forming of the rod but they would NOT even look at it. They said to store them unloaded so it wouldn't happen. I have had several doz. loaded since I first bought mine in 2001 with no other problems and use them regularly. ...................... the mike

I’ve heard when Bertram sold his business quality took a dive & springs breaking. When it happened up here the dealer who sold it sent the guy a new one though.
Think I’m just gonna tremclad em and boil/baking soda the wire.
