got several frozen muskrat and beaver carcasses. Was going to grind and make use of them. Was wondering if I should taint. Or use fresh. Perhaps some of both.

Grind first, then taint, much easier on you and, those around you! And mucu easier to mix in preservitive to halt the taint process.

I've been using Deer Dust for years. It's the leavings on bandsaw the butcher tosses in garbage. Like saw dust to wood, its fine meat, fat & bone.
No grinding No skun'n No gutting, ready to use
Free at Deer processor

Deer Dust can be tainted, used fresh, made into a paste and anything can be added to fit your need.
Did I tell ya it's FREE at your local Deer processor?

I've used Saw dust from meat saw, works excellent.
I use to work at butcher shop year's back.

No horses work good for me, never a shortage in my area.

Word gets out , and find me.
