10 cups of cutoff corn, stick of butter, 2 cups water, 1/4-1/2 cup sugar depending on how sweet your corn already is and 2 tbsp. Salt. Bring to boil and low boil for 5 min. Remove from heat and put the pan in an ice bath to cool quickly. Can't really beat it imo...
Bushel of corn will get you about 20 nice quart bags(I put 2 cups in each bag). I found some cheap stuff today but just found out why. It’s not the best…not sweet at all. Will your method bring less than perfect corn up to grade?

Blanch corn, then cut corn off the cob and freezer in vacuum bags. X2

It is necessary to blanch the corn to set the milk and sugar.
