Tooltime, I am not positive but fairly sure I’ve bought smaller bags than five pounds. About one half bottle per bag yes. I have a large plastic container with lid for mixing and shaking until all soaked up. I just get the cheapest dry cat food I can find at dollar general. Prefer fish flavored but I don’t think that matters either. I have quite using fish oil at sets. Costs extra and catch rate didn’t seem to improve with it. A little coon lure might be helpful in colder weather. Who knows. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Dollar general also usually has some jello mix boxes pretty cheap. Strawberry, cherry, grape, you name it. A dollar can of sardines mashed up and mixed in would be good too. Just keep it cheap, simple, and set on sign. Play the numbers game. Lots of sets, lots of locations, cheap bait, and go get ‘em.

Dry cat food ,bacon grease and gummy worms. I tried the bacon grease and cat food. Besides being a mess, it seems to draw every possum within 50 miles!

I mix dry dog food and dry cat food, just because the dog food is cheaper…. I use a tiny smear of Lennon’s coon lure on a tree by the gang set. Cheap and easy. No mess.

My trouble with cat food is, for some odd reason, cats seem very attracted to it. Never caught a cat in a DP, but my son ended up catching 3 greys in them. Then again I think they are from the feline line.

Never caught a cat in a DP, ... Lots of free range cats around here. Some are little kids pets, some are just wild and some are farmer's best mousers. I don't want to catch any of them. (you all can save your opinion on free range cats, we've all heard it a million times)
