Is there anyone with knowledge about marten, islands and swimming?

A few islands, the biggest about 1 hectare and the smallest just a few hundred square meters.

Its about 300 meters from the coast to the islands. Old mixed forest. The islands are a popular mink resort.

Any idea to trap marten or should I just go for the mink?

Go for the mink; if marten are on the islands they will most likely find your mink sets as long as you are using bait.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.
