Urban Meyer is available. If we hired that crooked man, it is going to be very difficult to support the program. Leaves every program he touches with some sort of dirt/scandal.

They could hire the guy at Missouri. He is a real deal bottom of the pack SEC coach who got pasted by K State, but at least he beat LA Tech.........and only allowed 3 or 4 bombs for touchdowns in the process.
Or maybe NE ought to hire the Georgia Southern coach? Half of what they were paying Frost would probably be double what he is making now.

Don't know. I believe the real problem lies in the chain of command above the Huskers head coach. Solich played for a national title against Miami, and got fired. The AD, Pederson, didn't like him. Pelini wasn't liked by the AD either because of his 20 grit personality and he had a hard time implementing his indoor voice. He yelled heaven forbid. Both coaches went to bowls, had ranked teams, and good to great records.
Frost had a .340 percentage Terminated for results.
Riley had a .500 percentage. Terminated for mediocrity.
Pelini had a .713 percentage. Terminated for raising his voice at times(LOL) and telling the AD to let him coach the team and stay out of the way.
Callahan had a .551 percentage
Solich had a .753 percentage Terminated for not being the golden boy of the AD.
The adjustment needs made from the top down. Period.

Being an old K State fan I find it amusing as all get out. No golf claps and that a boys from the Husker Reds.... They chased the almighty dollar and now are basically a developmental program now in the Big lol.... KSU fan here too! Born and raised in Concordia.

The man at the top in no way should be compared with former AD's. Trev will make a good hire and he wont necessarily be a Nebr guy. Probably better if he wasn't.

NE has ran off so many people why would anybody want the job? They better rent instead of buy a house. These college coaches have huge egos. They all think they can turn a program around, plus about 5-10 million reasons why.
