Koss2005 OP trapper K Joined: Mar 2016 New Mexico, USA	I haven't lived in Missouri too long and I'm wanting to try some snaring for beaver. When I read the regs I'm not sure what's legal for water snares. There pretty specific on land snares but vague on water snares. Do I have to use a relax type snare? Do I need the deer stop? I think the snare needs to be submerged half way not sure. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I ran into a game warden on Saturday and he gave me the lowdown on water snaring. I had spoken with some other trappers in the area about it but no one knew were it was in the reg's.
