Sept. 30 - Oct. 1 Kentucky, Glencoe - The United Trappers of Kentucky will hold their convention at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. ( 4476 Us-Hwy 127) It is just down I-71 from Cincinnati. For info call Dave Kriege at 1-859-640-2223.
This meet is very close for you southern Ohio and S.E. Indiana trappers. Everyone welcome
The meet is just off Hwy. 127 at Glencoe. If you drive north from Frankfort it will be on the left. It is about two miles south of I-71 on Hwy 127 and will be on the right. Site can also be reached from Dry Ridge, Ky Exit off I-75 and travel west on Hwy 467 to Hwy 127 near Glencoe.
We have some good dealers coming with supplies including Hal Sullivan, nationally known trapper and writer from Ohio, John Pingley, Pingley Professional Lures, from West Virginia, Nick Erny with RBG traps from Indiana, Chuck Rainwater from Alabama , Louis Tandy Lures, and Boo Boyers Snares and other supplies. There will also be some tailgaters with used traps and other treasures. Please plan on supporting our dealers and tailgaters.
We will be doing the Trappers Trade table on Friday. Bring an item valued around 20 bucks for table and get a ticket to draw a different table item. This is fun for those that do it. There will be an officers meeting Friday afternoon at four so that it will not interfere with the auction we always have after lunch on Saturday.
Someone will be drawn to win a very nice Savage Accutrigger camo .243 or a Heritage .22 revolver from the drawing on Saturday.

1200- Lunch
1300- General meeting Q&A and auction

We have free camping for this meet just down the road at Dave’s place. That’s where we’ll all be Thursday afternoon. Also tailgating is free.

There will be things for the kids to do. Fishing derby, scavenger hunt and some other things.

Had a good turnout yesterday. Good to see old friends again.
