I picked up some old Blake and lamb #2 underspring traps(not coil) at an estate sale. They are in very good shape. Has anyone ever used them? What's your opinion of them?

B&L's are excellent traps, as are jump traps.

In the late 70's I used them for rats. They worked just fine. If that's all I had I would still use them today. Caught quite a few mink and coon in them also, although they weren't the best for coon. Losing some to chew outs and pull outs. Back then they were some of the few traps I started with so I made do with what I had till I could afford other traps.

I will probably use them for mink. Nice high grip I would think.
