I cut the pointing finger on my left hand off. They re-attached it and other than it aint put back on perfectly straight,,I never have a problem with it.However,,I had two fingers on my right hand get frost bit years ago,,and it doesn't take much cold to get them bothering me.Them hand warmer thingies are a life saver for me.Get ya some of them.I use the throw away ones and make sure I always have some around.

Yep smashed right hand is ALWAYS cold below 30 or so no matter what I do.

I bucked off a Lyle Sankey bull and as my hand went to the ground his hoof followed it down. I got it patched up ok but it gets cold and stiff way b4 the other one.

About ten years ago I hit my index finger with a skill saw. Major repair but saved the finger.
The index finger gets very cold whenI am sitting in a deer stand. Poor circulation is my assumption.
Anybody have a similar problem and what do you do? my dad does , he still thinks they should have just taken the middle finger the rest of the way off when he got it with the table saw right in the joint . the doc convinced him that it could be saved and fuse the joint. 20 years later he still thinks it might have been better to just take it off back then. mittens , hand warmers and thin gloves under the mittens after deer season and Christmas he heads for FL until May and enjoys fishing where a sweatshirt is all that is needed my neighbor has a nerve issue in her hands vibration make it worse and her hands get cold very easily she uses these boil and snap reusable hand warmers https://www.amazon.com/HotSnapZ-Warmers-Reusable-Round-Pocket/dp/B004CV2YXE

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

My feet are always the first thing to get cold. Also the ends of all my fingers will go numb at times. I slap them against my leg or with the other hand until they come back around.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

About 15 year ago I cut my right index finger to the bone with a machete(using it improperly of course). Straight to the emergency room and everything was put back together but I still have very little sensitivity in my index finger and it gets very cold and turns white when its exposed in the bitter cold.

Split my left thumb long time ago, I have the same reaction. Yup, crushed my left thumb in the'80s. Always a little numb and yet cold makes it HURT.

You can move blood to your hands and fingers centrifugally. Swinging your arms at an elevation equal to your heart will move blood. It is a trick that I use at times when we are at 33 degrees and 100% humidity. Seems like sound advice, will definitely try that this winter, thanks!

Crushed my left pointer finger between a motor and motor mount. Got it all sewed up albeit somewhat deformed. It definitely gets colder than the rest. I wear one of those mittens that flips away to expose your finger when you need to use them. If sitting on a deer stand you can also put a chemical activated heat pack in the mitten

Pinched my fingers between drums of paint, oil, you nane it, many times. Hit a few with a hammer, lost the nails , and had a rabbit bite the end of my index finger when I was 5or 6 , and mom put it back together and wraped it up. Never went to the dr. Yes my hands get cold quick , especially on an ATV in cold weather. Bought those hand warmers like upstateNY is talking about. Helped a lot. But every now and then , depending on the line I was running , had to stop and have the muffler blow heat into my gloves to warm my fingers.
