In the next few days going to have a new litter of Catahoulas. The sire is a brother to a female we have that is good at tracking wounded deer. And also good at guarding and protecting our chickens and yard. The sire was bread with another female no relation. Wondering what to do as far as price. These dogs if raised from puppies are very loyal to their families. Not town dogs. They need something to do.

Marketed well with well trained parents I would think 1,000 wouldn't be unreasonable. I will say some breeders are expressing its harder to move pups after covid had everyone buy one

In my area grade catahoula pups go for $450.00 to $800.00 and NALC registered pups go for $800.00 to $1200.00. The pretty colors, like leopards and the cracked ice eyed pups sell well. After a few weeks, the black pups and black tans usually get marked down a lot lower. Most people here want the more interesting looking catahoulas. They are a rare breed in Ohio.

I have no idea what they are worth, but I want puppy pics when they come.
