always try new gas if you have spark
the issue is water stops stuff up easy
I have a bottle that I put a little gas in , makes it easy to squirt just a touch down the plug hole or in the carb then get it to pop , when you can get some rpm running like that it can draw the new gas in better with more vaccum

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

My Stihl 250 has flooded out on me. The guy at the shop said to just hold the throttle wide open and keep pulling until it starts. It works.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Check the impulse line. If my memory serves me I replaced several of those at the shop. I'm almost positive I replaced one on my 361.
There's no husky that will outlast that 361. Just buy an ms362 or ms400

The 361's can be tricky to start sometimes. Set the choke and pull until it burps or fires. Sometimes it can be hard to hear this. When it does set the choke at the half position and pull it, it should start. If you pull it after the first time it fires again with the choke still on it will flood the saw bad and usually, you will have to take the plug out and dry it. With the plug out pull the trigger and pull it over several times to get the gas out of the crank case. Dry plug and then do the above steps and it should start up. The 361 saws are some of Stihls best saw they produced.
