King size....name brand...better quality....GOOD GRIEF!! The prices are what I paid for my first used pickup a few decades ago! I priced them at all the major outlets here and online.

Had no choice but to buy one today. My current one is 20+ years old and I believe has contributed to many on- going aches and pains...wife and I haven't rested good in a while.

Could've bought an unknown brand that felt like laying on a sheet of plywood for about $700 for just the mattress, but bought a Serta pillow top king set..$1500.....that stings a bit, but the higher end king sets were almost $3000.....sheesh!!

Just no way I could sleep on a couch much....I'd be crippled.

That's what convinced me to spend that amount...because I am very tight with my $$$.

Our water heater line blew off while we werent home and shot a hole through the drywall into a Tempuroedic, obviously ruining it. It had cost me 1500 I think. Went to check on getting a new one, and this was a few yesrs ago. 3k was cheapest i could find.

I just showered and layed down on this new mattress........goodness what a difference in comfort!!!!

I just might get a good rest tonight. Shouldve replaced that cardboard flapjack we've been sleeping on years ago.

Headed to the Florida Gulf coast tommorrow to gig flounder...need some rest....

I've had mine for several years now. Full memory foam. 10 inch thick Queen.

Very firm , but soft enough at the same time. Hard to describe. Very good firm support .

If I had to evacuate for a forest fire, I'd take that mattress with me, for fear I'd never find another like it. The frame is very light metal , easy to carry.

I only hope everyone can find a mattress as wonderful as the one I happened upon .

Same thing with pillows. Memory foam , firm, and shaped for neck and shoulders is key.

I will add I have had some of my best times in my life on my mattress. I hope your Serta pillow last longer than mine did before it needed replaced. I didn't replace I becuse I'm cheep but bought an add on 4" top pad. I helped for a while but it needs replaced.

Ther was a nice one at the state fair but that sticker price. Don't remember the brand but adjustable firmness and it adjusted head and feet position independently for each side. But over 4k not sure I can stomach that. After all I'm only home to sleep in my bed half the month. I'm used to a crappie pull out bed the other half so my wore out bed is an improvement. But my wife sure would be happy

They say that the mattress you bought 20 years ago at say, $800.00 Will now cost $1,600 or more, just to get the same quality as the old mattress.

No idea why anyone would want a king size bed. Never been able to figure that one out. Wife and I only use half a queen size. We moved up to a queen because she takes her half out of the middle.

Got a new queen size just shortly before I got married four years ago. Forget the brand but a known brand, off of Amazon. Less than $500. Good mattress, too firm for me, feels great when I lay down, and I fall asleep on it better than any mattress I've ever used, but if I don't put a pillow between my knees about five hours is all I'm good for and it starts hurting my back. Only mattress I've ever had that did that. Only new mattress I've ever bought, but I probably would have gotten rid of it and gotten another by now, except the wife loves it and swears it is the most comfortable mattress she has ever slept on her whole life.

Wife and I are opposites. She likes a soft plush mattress. I like a firm mattress. Got the medium.
