I have no idea but though about calling a logging crew and seeing what poor grade semi loadnof logs would cost me. But I can't unload them. Loggers deliver their loads on trucks with a clam, so they'll drop your load wherever you tell them to. That's how it works in WI anyway..

Loggers don't use clams much here in Virginia for whatever reason. Possibly because VDOT doesn't trim the roads back properly and the loggers would have to fix their clams on a regular basis.

Its 1000 dollars for a 10 cord load of 10-12 inch oak logs in Northern Michigan. Another thousand bucks to have them delivered down here by the MI/OH border. They unload with a clam.

Around here you get a 4x8 cord of 16-17 inch delivered for $55-60. Dumped.
