I've started back with a routine but to be honest some days all i can do is just strech. Been walking and lifting light weights plus lots of streches.

awesome. Look into one legged Rumanian dead lift, Bulgarian split squat, good mornings and walking lunges.

Ya thats the issue i have with working out, all the funky names and i just want 5 or 6 moves that are easy to remember and do so im done in half hour. If it takes me longer to look it up then do it i loose intrest.I hate working out id rather mop floors or do dishes. Its something i force myself todo and will look for ways to get out of it so I keep it short and simple.

Food poisoning also causes temporary joint pain in the hips and other joints.

If your blood work is fine and no LD or pinched nerve, Its most likely from your diet, if you have a lot of extra weight on your hips, that could be the problem too.

Exercise is good for some people but really not needed to get healthy if you eat the right foods. Eat the wrong foods and you will hurt and get fat. Its hard to burn fat exercising. Eat a low carb diet and the lbs melt off without starving or exercise.

For the record I do exercise, but alot of folks cant, and if they just eat better their health will improve immensely, add in a walk or a few deep knee bends and your joints will feel better as well.

I though for sure a year ago that I would need a hip replaced, but the pain disappeared and hasn’t returned. PTL!

Well, if you want to remain functional to the best of your ability as you age it will require some work. Find a good gym and get some sessions with a qualified trainer to start addressing your physical issues. You cannot just look something up and do it correctly, you need some coaching to help you.

Or you could not be bothered and things will just get worse over time.

I would also check your shoes. A bad pair of shoes, will hurt your back and hips.

Go to the Doc. Check for Lyme, but more importantly check bloodwork and have tests run for CRP and ESR. May be an auto immune response. ( I know from experience.)

Possibly injured / damaged disc in your spine allowing the nerves to the legs to be pinched. Or possibly narrowing of the nerve path causing the nerves to be compressed.

MRI will tell the story.

A couple years ago my knees hurt so bad that I had to have help getting out of my shack and onto the wheeler to get out of the woods. Felt like knives in my knees! Got to the ER and the Doc said Lymes. It was my second time around but with the antibiotics, it was better in no time.

Got a dr appointment Wednesday and chryopratic tomorrow. Talked with mom a retired nurse about the diet things everyone mentioned and she's on board with that idea . We started using canola oil for the fish frying and she said it makes her hurt bad. She has lupus and wants me to ask the dr about it.

I doubt its Lyme because i haven't been anywhere to get a tick in over a year.

MSM worked for my dog and works for me. Add glucosamine.
4000 mm a day of MSM 2000MM OF GLUCOSAMINE keeps the joint pain away

Thats one of the things I've done for the last week. I'm going to stop them as its something new and it can cause inflammation in some people.

Heavy metal poisoning can cause havoc, if you test for it make sure it's a provoked urine test. That'll let you if there's metal's hiding in the joint's, it can cause lots of nerve problems as well.
