Cedar Hacker OP trapper C Joined: Dec 2006 Texas Hill Country	Jody Miller has passed away from Parkinson's Disease. She won a grammy for Queen of the House. Recorded many country songs as well as gospel songs. She was a native of Blanchard Oklahoma and had lived there most of her life. She and her husband , Monty Brooks, raised, trained and ran quarter horses for years. Monty was a brother in the famed Brooks family running quarter horse fame. I visited with her I guess two or three years ago right before the covid shut down. She handled the Parkinson Disease pretty well and was still singing at that time. Rest in peace pretty lady. Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.
