I trap for a Ranch that's always messing with me, they just dropped it off today. I said no to the pink gloves. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2022/10/full-20847-153092-kimg0748.jpg)

I squat. It's not getting any easier, but I got a kneeling pad and never carry the thing.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

I have always used the green pads available from the trap supply places. Tried knee pads for the convenience and simplicity of always being there without having to pick up something else. But I always seemed to be getting dirt and debris behind them when digging.
A friend gave me a Kobalt Foam Pad from Lowes that is thicker and bigger than the green pads and they work well also. They are available locally for only a couple bucks more than the green ones. Either works well for me.

Screw kneepads, what are y'all using to pull yourselves up off the ground. LOL
I swear it's like my knees lock in the down position. I went to Goodwill and bought a cheap folding aluminum walker. Took the wheels off . I set it right beside me when making a set. My back is totally fused, have a hard time getting back up

Steel - I use the same. They sure are better than kneeling on rocks or a trap chain. Plus, hard to forget them at a set. In Ohio they cost less - one reason to live here.

I have a real thick (~1.5") firm pad I bought off Amazon and although it's a little big it works great. It pads my knees in the rocky ground I trap in and is actually big enough and firm enough that I can set a #2 Bridger on it.
I also have one of the green ones all of the trapping supply places sell and it works pretty well but not as good as the big one.
I couldn't figure out how to share the link but here's the title of the thick pad
"Kneeling Pad Extra Thick | Garden & Bathtub Kneeler for Baby Bath | Knee Pads for Woman and Men | Mat for Bathtub, Gardening, Yoga, Construction Work, Prayers & Exercise High Density 18" x 11" x 1.5""
