Thanks, I've raised a son I'm proud of and the kind of young man ppl are happy to know of employ. The fact that he can go thru a day or a year with out pain certainly says volumes about modern medicine.

In fact I owe being here to typing this to a pair of stents and big pharma!

Hey everyone thanks for the input and the encouragement and suggestions. Sunday nite . One week post surgery will be 2morrow around 11 AM. I am doing ok. Walked a lot today using only a cane... ever so carefully. Been driving my 2 WD PU as it's easier to get into as I go out to the family farms. Some pain but not really in the joint or incision area. Pain is in the calf and thigh area . Feels like a bruised muscle. Learned how to get on my Zero Turn mower and cover some ground here at my creek bottom Ranch. I am really cutting back on the tramadol and tylenol. Just when I go to bed (been sleeping good last 2 nites) and then about noon. But my torn up back must be throwing in a wrench into my rehab as feet sometimes burn and legs get really weak and at times very painful. A good stretch or rest and then can go again. Overall for being only a week past surgery ..... so far.... I think things are going pretty well. HEY, I am not a superman.... but definitely getting to be a man (Old) of steel.... with pins and screws and mesh in my shoulders, new left knee., and now some more steel in my hip !!!!! LOL !!!! Thanks again !
