Denver is what they call Metallic Cat around the barn with his current owner, Bobby Patton. I hear tell old Bobby paid $175,000 to have a cameo shot of his horse on a TV show.

That is one big boy. Halter horse weight. Lots of bone in the legs . I sure wouldn’t call him Denver. Tank would be more fitting.

If his legs were just a touch thicker ide assume he was a draft pony that just spent a winter pulling logs put of the woods.

I remember seeing him on Yellowstone. A beauty of a horse.

If that's a link, it doesn't work.

Yes he is featured in Yellowstone. I recognized him straight away.

In reality, he is syndicated for millions. I believe he has become the history making equivalent for the King and Bueno line from years ago.

The cutting , reining industry is big business.

I can't wait to see how this horse, in the series, bought by John Dutton, will create the legacy for the ranch that will thwart the out of state take over industry that they were fighting in the last season . The take over of the ranch to turn it into an airport and casino resort.

I'm expecting, in this new series, to see a lot of M.C., as well as the true life trainer/actors riding a lot of great reining and cutting horses.

A well-balanced horse . Lots of power between the axles. He tends to sire a decent amount of his red roan colour, too. A signature recognition to notice .

Hoss, that's they type of Quarter I like to see.

Some other lines in the past got into skinny legs and way tiny hooves. I could never stand to see that look.

The way they were invented, with stout leg bone, low to the ground, big turbo boost engines and deep chest and width, is to me, how they always should be.

When my father and I were breeding and showing our King/Bueno horses, we never thought the industry would become as heavy hitting in world recognition, right up there with the Thoroughbred , Arabian, and now Warm Blood dressage/eventing breeds.

What's cool is that these horses are classic "Made in America".

If the USA has a horse icon to represent the country, this would be it.
