Looking to get a trail cam for security use around the house, looking for one of the cameras that can send photos to your phone. How does that work for say ATT does the camera need its own number then it sends the photo to your phone? Good brands ?

looking at this one on Camofire

If its for your home look on amazon or at Walmart. Cheap cams that hook to your wifi and send pics to an app on your phone. Yes it may cost more than the USED trail cam but you won't have a monthly charge to receive pics .....

Here is one of HUNDREDS !! This one is cheaper than the trail cam . Plus easier to mount and conceal. They even have some that are solar.... For what you are wanting a trail cam isn't the best option...

At home its my cell at work its internet.

I want to put this about 75 feet from the house where the drive splits to go to the shop or house. Mostly to see if anyone is at the house while I'm at work.

Mine doesn’t send to my phone. Checked it after six weeks, had 8400+ pictures taken during nighttime. One was a rabbit. Most were of the lady that delivers newspapers at 2:30 am, then turns around and comes by again. Walkers were common as well.

If you have internet at home I would recommend an EUFY camera set up. My cameras have their own WIFI signal and base station so they don't interfere with my home WIFI speeds and the base station plugs directly into the modem. I get a video sent to my phone via the app that comes with the system. It works great. 180 day batteries last about 4-5 months at my house depending on use and temperatures and are rechargeable. I think the setup I bought was something like $315 for two arlo looking cameras and one ring doorbell looking camera.

We live out in the sticks. A day or two after my wife installed home surveillance cameras, I had forgotten about them. She informed me that the only thing interesting from the night before was me taking a leak off the back steps. Oops! eek

It's not always about catching fish. That's what people who don't catch fish usually say.

Don't buy a Stealth. You will regret it.

Go with Tactacan or Bushnell cell cameras.

Look at the moultrie delta cellular trail cams. I bought one for $70 on sale, sold it to my buddy. He gets great pics with an easy to use app. Verizon or Att. Plans start around $11 bucks a month. Dad has the spy points. He likes them. Maybe a tic cheaper on cell plans. But that moultrie app really impressed me. I just saw them on Amazon for $60.
